This is a professional training for ALL behavioral health professionals as well as public and private school mental health and counseling staff along with graduate students in training in psychiatry, psychology, social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family and counseling programs along with psychiatric nursing. The participants will learn the basic competency areas for suicide risk assessment. The participants will learn to identify the 7 categories of risk factors for risk assessment and learn to use protective and risk factors to assign risk level for clinical judgment and profile development.
