VETERANS EMPLOYEE RESOURCE GROUP

The Veterans Employee Resource Group consists of WellLife Network military personnel and their families who meet regularly to identify their civilian needs and concerns.

The veterans meet with their peers, share ideas, explore resources and benefits on a community, state and national level.

The Employee Resource Group develops and promotes increased community involvement among its membership and interacts with military support organizations to assist fellow veterans in need.

The WellLife Network Employee Resource Group offers:

<p>WellLife Network was recognized in 2016 honoring the support it provides to the Guard and Reserve in finding employment opportunities for veterans. A plaque was presented by Mary Lynch Westmoreland, Colonel, US Army, Retired, DoD ESGR NYC Area Chair, to WellLife Network, for its Operation VETS program, headed by Willie Scott, Vice President, Public Affairs and Rosemary Nuccio, Consultant for Veteran Affairs.</p>

<p>WellLife Network is committed to helping veterans make the transition from military life into the civilian workforce through its Operation VETS program. It partners with other veterans agencies to provide new and expanded employment opportunities as well as job preparation skills, resume creation and professional attire for the job interview. Our Operation VETS program also promotes the confidence they require to re-enter the workforce offering a grassroots response that ensures veterans, facing economic hardship, are embraced by a strong, vibrant, and caring community.</p>
